Everything Bad in Diablo 3 is due to the Simultaneous Console Development

This seems to be the biggest or more angry complaint, so I’ll hit it right at the start. First of all, it’s hard not to notice that there’s a bit of a Mad Libs aspect to this, where the complaints stay the same and only the noun to blame changes. D3 sucks because ________ (Choose one: Jay Wilson, RMAH, Bobby Kotick, Console version, Global Warming.)

That said, as someone who used the phrase “dumbed down D3″ often enough that I made a news category for it, there is an argument to be made here. The skill interface remodel is the biggest example of a system that appears to have been simplified in function and appearance, and possibly part of the reason behind the change was to make it more console-friendly.

Background: All during development Runes tones were objects you found from monster drops (like gems, basically) and you socketed them into skills to modify the function of the skill. There were five different types of runes tones and up to seven quality levels, and the theory was that players would collect them and try different ones out in their skills.

There were problems with the system, though: The devs said that people tended not to desocket and resocket and thus didn't experiment much, that the runes tones completely clogged your inventory (especially when they got magical affixes on them and thus every one was different and unstack able), and that it was a generally cumbersome and complicated system. These points were strongly argued by guys from the WoW strike team when they did a full play through of Diablo 3 in late 2011, and that led to the entire system being reworked (and improved?) As you see in the game today, each skill has a base form and then 5 rune effects, but you don’t require runes tones to change them, and you’re able to switch freely between them any time. sell cheap diablo 3 gold

Whatever you think of that change, if clearly necessitated a reworking of the UI. Before then, you only saw the runes tone effect when you hovered on the runes tone. The basic skill window only showed the base skill function, so a new UI was required that could show the base skill, plus all of the rune effects in one place. And not just in some long hover tool tip. Which is why we've now got the one big skill window that fills the entire screen, rather than small icons that appear on a side window like you get with the Inventory or Follower.

There was a ton of debate about that system and change at the time, (I wasn't a fan of the change) and some people did indeed say it was a change made to match up with the Console. And maybe it was, but I don’t think it’s exactly Exhibit A. After all, they had to change the UI to show all the rune effects and the skill at once, so some sort of change was required. And it’s not like they overhauled everything in the PC game for the console; look at the feature list and screenshots from yesterday: no paper doll, no inventory grid, different way point menu, no belt interface, etc.

So yeah, the skill UI changed back in late 2011 (and went into the Beta in Feb 2012), and many of us weren't big fans of the change. But there’s nothing really linking that change to the console UI, and we see tons of other UI changes for the console that would definitely be worth outrage if they came to the PC.

Also note that as of October 2011, when the big skill UI overhaul was under way, the Diablo console “team” consisted of three people. The project was hardly even begun, and if you believe that the other 150 people working frantically to finish Diablo 3 were missing deadlines because they were throwing out entire game systems and reworking the UI so that they might save the console developers a bit of effort 8 or 10 or 12 months later… yeah. buy diablo gold cheap

Zaros is one of the oldest gods on RuneScape

A magician's staff of Zaros, associated with Ancient Magicks, which are also associated closely with Zaros. You are given access to them after freeing Azzanadra, Zaros' champion, from imprisonment within a pyramid.

Zaros is one of the oldest gods on RuneScape, arriving during the time of Guthix's Sleep. During the Second Age, Zaros was in possession of a vast empire, covering most of The Wilderness, Morytania, Misthalin, and Asgarnia. Among his many warriors, the most powerful were the Mahjarrat: Freneskae warriors who had originally followed Icthlarin. The Mahjarrat followed Zaros after realising that Icthlarin had little influence, and were incorporated into Zaros' army. After the defeat of Zaros by Zamorak (see Zamorak's entry to learn more), most of Zamorak's fellow Mahjarrat turned to Zamorak's side. However, some, including Azzanadra and Akthanakos, remained loyal to Zaros. Zaros cursed all of those instrumental in his defeat. This had little effect on Zamorak, who became a god through his victory and absorption of Zaros' power through the Staff of Armadyl. Buy Runescape Gold

However, the curse did produce the ghosts that feature in the Ghostly Robes Miniquest. Zaros' defeat left his empire masterless, and the God Wars were sparked by Zamorak, Saradomin, and others' fight for his territory. Many of Zaros' followers await his possible return to assert his claim over RuneScape again one day. Recently, after Azzanadra the Mahjarrat was freed from captivity by an adventurer (the player), he undertook a mission to reestablish communication with Zaros, succeeding with the same adventurer's aid (see the quest The Temple at Senntisten for more information.) Zaros appears to be responsible for both what we term Ancient Magicks and Curses, both being alternate forms of magic and prayer, respectively, which are uniquely Zarosian.

Ragnarok Online 2 Review – Blinded by Nostalgia

Ragnarok Online 2 is the sequel to its previous successor Ragnarok Online. This game is widely known and shouldn't have an introduction at all, and if you are a big fan and never heard of this game than you seriously missed a great experience over the year. This free-to-play MMORPG is mostly based around the Norse mythology and is a fan favourite among many MMO Fans. This sequel took a very long time to be made since its initial plan was scrapped due to a last minute change of plans at Gravity Corp and the sense that their title wasn't living up to expectations.

Class selection is always very important when you make your first character; your first life will be the first unique experience that you have in a game and the fear that your first impression is on something you dislike is very real. Thankfully, the classes in Ragnarok Online 2 are generally common and have been seen before in the previous Ragnarok game. I decided to go for the Magician, but the Archer, Swordsman, Thief and Acolyte are also really fun classes to play. When creating your character you can also choose between one of the four jobs. These jobs (commonly more known as professions) add some dynamic changes to your experience. The four jobs that can be taken are the Chef, Alchemist, Blacksmith and Artisan and are exactly what you would imagine. I took the Alchemist job to test out how well it synergized with my magician.

Everything that you can remember from Ragnarok Online… well just forget about that because this game is a lot different in the sense of its graphics and overall controls. Obviously the devs have learned a thing or two over the last decade and incorporated it into game play and UI. Moving your character can be done with the WASD keys and your camera is controlled with the mouse as in any MMO from this era. If you want you can still right click to move in this game, but personally I'm not a really big fan of this. Engaging any target is fairly simple but requires a tad bit more thought than most similar MMORPGs in the genre. Obviously as a magician you have to rely on your mana and skills as your auto attacks are nearly worthless and a swift wind can blow you down. The three starting skills were plenty to get me started on my adventure and also indirectly taught the importance of timing and cool downs to combo foes before they got into range to counter-attack. This obviously changes per class but in general if you’re not spamming skills in this game, you’re being ineffective. Unfortunately, the animations seem to make the combat a bit clunky for a title launched in 2013. I also got slightly irritated at times when I would move unexpectedly when trying to click on interactive environment pieces or NPCs due to the secondary nature of the click as a movement option.

Let’s jump back a bit to those jobs I mentioned earlier. Since one of these jobs can drastically help you out with gearing yourself or giving you extra buffs, you will have to utilize it frequently to keep it relevant as you grow in power. Otherwise you’ll fall behind in job level and not use it to its full potential. The jobs level up by gathering materials and crafting so it’s not a big deal, though a little plain.

Ragnarok Online 2 also has an upgraded version of the original’s card system. For anyone unfamiliar with this feature, this card system might sound like there is some sort of RPG trading card game within Ragnarok Online 2. Instead they act similar to how gems in other MMORPGs work when embedded into armor or attached to skills. These cards are necessary to unleash the full potential of your character. These cards can be found as lucky monster drops or through NPC combination crafting, and you can equip any 5 cards at a time. Thankfully instead of filling your bag up with optional cards to swap in for certain circumstances, you can instead place all your cards into the Card Book for convenient storage as well as an organizational structure to make keeping track of your card roster a breeze!buy or sell Ragnarok Online2 gold

So what else is there to do besides grinding character and job levels or hunting monster cards? You can dissemble many items and refine equipment for one if you have the spare time to aim to be the strongest you can be. Being a trader and earning plenty of gold is also a must from time to time. Something that is also a nice addition to this new game is the Khara System. As you play through the game you will receive these special Khara challenges that can give you rewards which include special titles. These titles can give your character a special stat boosts which can help you deal out that extra damage or armor. Complete these missions in a special sequence to get even more bonus missions with more additional rewards. There are also hidden missions for players will to put the extra effort in to find them.

Guild Wars 2 Rollin With The Storm Game Review

I was told last week you know Storm you have never done a review of Gw2 or your actual thoughts. So I said well damn you know what I never have. So here it is my thoughts on the game what could help it what’s hurting it. Here’s a list of things I touched on feel free to input your own thoughts as well. You have no right or wrong statements here. It’s all opinion and good to get out want and desires. sell C9 Gold items COTN

Community, World Events, Dungeon, Professions, Looks&Style, Combat, and PVP
I also touched on what could help the game more in depth towards the end. For example better social interaction because we have no urging to even do so at the moment. Also more server engaging world events that make the server react and do something beyond zerging. Better reason to do the normal dungeons being that they are almost all but abandoned.  buy guild wars 2 gold

Legendaries needs to be streamlined because even with help it’s still too ridiculous right now to be worth your time. Finally the last two things more skills need to be added to the weapons and the means to switch them. And SPVP/WVW needs to mean a bit more than it does right now. A better carrot at the end so to speak we can run for. I went more in depth in the video but for those who don’t wish to watch that is more than fine. Like I said above leave your views and comments hopefully something we say will get noticed and added to the game.
